The IATF has approved Stakeholder Communiqué SC-2025-003, Release of Sanctioned Interpretations (SIs) and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) related to both Rules 6th Edition and IATF 16949.
The purpose of this Communiqué is to advise all IATF Stakeholders that the IATF has issued the following:
Rules 6th Edition Sanctioned Interpretations:
- Revised both SI 8 and SI 12
- Issued SI 19, SI 20 and SI 21
Rules 6th Edition Frequently Asked Questions:
- Issued FAQ 1
IATF 16949 Sanctioned Interpretations:
- Revised SI 23
- Issued SI 27, SI 28, SI 29 and SI 30
IATF 16949 Frequently Asked Questions:
- Issued FAQ 30 and FAQ 31
