International Automotive Task Force

The contract between the IATF-recognized certification body NSF-ISR and their joint venture partner, Jiangsu AQA International Standard Certification Co. Ltd, terminated in July 2023 and NSF-ISR had decided to discontinue IATF certification services in China as of September 2023.

As a result, all clients with NSF-ISR IATF 16949 certificates in China are required to start the transfer process immediately to another IATF-recognized certification body. In response to this, the IATF has developed a transfer process including several waivers and concessions to support those organizations currently certified by NSF-ISR to transfer to another IATF-recognized Certification Body.
